Mixed Income Housing
The Northside is a community of choice.
We seek to develop a community in which all housing is high-quality, mixed-income, and appealing to a variety of residents. Housing is a key factor in the strength of a community. To ensure Northside families have safe structures in which to call home, we are working hard to bring improved single and multi family housing, both affordable and at market rate, to the Northside. We have worked with the Voyagers and community to minimize the displacement of existing residents due to redevelopment while also ensuring that all residents have access to the opportunities provided by NDG.
Northside Station
Northside Station consists of two distinct developments: a mixed-income housing development and a mixed-use commercial development. These two projects address the need for affordable and market rate housing in the Northside, as well as provide access to services and education.
Brawley Street Model Block
The Brawley Street Model Block is 21 units of mixed-income rental housing. Working with key community partners, the City of Spartanburg, Spartanburg Housing Authority, and Homes of Homes, NDG has made significant improvements to the area, while delivering much needed quality affordable and market rate housing on once vacant, abandoned properties.

NDG connects people to a number of programs, resources and assistance that help people navigate the home buying process.
Other Housing Developments
From affordable senior housing to developments that include a both market-rate and affordable/workforce units, the Northside has attracted an increasingly dynamic mix of housing for families of all income levels and sizes.
Owner Occupied Rehab
An owner occupied rehabilitation program to support emergency and minor repairs needed by existing homeowners in the Cleveland Heights area.
