Butterfly Creek

Located in the heart of the Northside behind Harvest Park, Butterfly Creek has brought new life to the area. The creek cultivates a fun, positive space for individuals of all ages to enjoy. The surrounding area has been transformed into a park that includes walking and biking trails, educational kiosks, pavilions, and an outdoor learning laboratory for children to learn about the variety of native flora growing there. Located in the heart of the Northside behind Harvest Park, restoring this community asset has brought new life to the area around the creek.

Chapel Street Park

A lovely gateway to the historic Cleveland Park neighborhood and other Northside neighborhoods, the 1.2-acre Chapel Street Park is the frequent host for community events and neighborhood gatherings.

Tiger Park

333 Preston Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303

Tiger Park is the Northside's newest park. During the day, it serves as a playground for the elementary school students who attend Cleveland Academy, and in the afternoon, it serves the Northside Community and the kids of the Dr. TK Gregg Center. This playground includes a walking trail that connects to Butterfly Creek. It is in partnership with the City of Spartanburg and District 7. 

Voyager Park

Located between the Cleveland Academy of Leadership and Franklin Street

Built in the heart of the Northside community, the park contains a beautiful statue that represents the Northside Voyagers. It also contains benches to sit and paths to walk around. It is located in between the Cleveland Academy of Leadership and Franklin Street.
