Cleveland Academy of Leadership

Formerly Cleveland Elementary School, Cleveland Academy of Leadership is a critical community anchor. The first public elementary school in the state of South Carolina to adopt a 195-day school calendar, 15 days more than the standard school calendar. The school heavily focuses the extra instructional time on literacy and math. Cleveland Academy also is a Franklin Covey Leader in Me school. It uses an innovative, school-wide model that emphasizes a culture of student empowerment. 

In 2023, Cleveland Academy received an Excellent rating on its state report card for academic performance.
